This page takes you from nothing to your first hours in GW Helios.
1. Create an account#
Press Register at the top of the site. Your account works for the website and the game.
2. Get the game#

3. Choose your path#
Every hero is a Warrior, Champion, Priest or Mage, and fights for Athens or Sparta. Your faction decides your capital, your quests and who you fight in PvP. See Classes to compare them.
4. Your first hours#
- Follow the main story. The first quest giver stands next to you when you arrive. Click a quest name written in green to walk there automatically. Each step of the story hands out the next: see Main Story: Sparta or Main Story: Athens.
- Hunt where it suits your level. Maps and Monsters lists every map by monster level. Monsters 20 or more levels below you only drop common loot.
- Travel. The Transporter by the east gate of your capital sends you to the next regions for free: your suburb at once, Peloponnese or Marathon at level 30, Nemea or Parnitha at 40, and further on as you grow. Every map can also be reached on foot.
- Collect your daily rewards. Spend 4 hours online and visit the Online Award Admin; take your nameplate from the Faction Crier; make 3 free wishes at the Wishing Pool. See Daily Activities.
- Learn your skills. Skill books are sold by the skill merchants of your capital; Classes lists the level of every rank.
5. Later on#
- From level 40: Lelantine Farm; from 50: the Trojan Expedition, Romance Island and Treasure Land; from 60: the battlegrounds (Pindus Battlefield, Ni Mini Valley, Capture the Flag).
- Improve your gear: Forging and Enhancement.
- Join a guild: Guilds.
- Check the Event Schedule for the week's events.
