Armor Rank

How the armor score and Armor Rank 0 to 10 are worked out, and what every rank's glow looks like.

Your Armor Rank shows how strong your whole set of armour is. Every piece you wear adds to one armor score; when the score passes a step, your rank goes up and your armour starts to glow, from a faint silver haze at rank 1 to azure wings at rank 10. Everyone around you sees it.

Preview#

Pick a rank to see its glow, or watch them play in turn.

Armor Rank 0 to 10
Rang 0

Rank 0 (armor score under 330): No glow yet.

Hinweis

The preview is drawn from the game's own glow pictures. In the game the glow wraps your chest armour and moves with you; it looks the same for every class, and for men and women.

The ranks#

RankArmor score neededThe glow
0under 330none
1330A faint silver haze
2475A teal ring of light
3750A blue ring with drifting stars and a golden beam
4950A deep blue ring crackling with lightning
51,350Blazing fire
61,720An amber ring with golden sigils
72,225A golden ring with a shaft of light
83,860A crimson ring with lightning and a burning beam
95,250A crimson ring with wings of flame
106,625An azure ring, blue lightning and wings

The rank is the highest step your score reaches. Without a chest piece you have no rank, whatever else you wear.

How the armor score works#

The armor score adds up every piece you wear except your weapon: helmet, chest, gloves, boots, belt, cloak, necklace, rings, the shield and the other worn pieces. A piece scores two things:

  • its rarity value, from its rarity (Common up to Mystic), and
  • its grade value for each added attribute it carries (the attributes from Gear Attributes).

So: piece score = rarity value + grade value × number of added attributes. A piece with no added attributes scores its rarity value only. Upgrades (+1, +2...) and holy stones do not count.

The values differ by piece. A chest piece, for example:

RarityRarity value
Common0
Enhanced12
Delicate27
Good42
Superior60
Classic81
Eternal111
Epic150
Legendary210
Mystic300
Grade123456789101112
Value per attribute15192430364248607590120150

A Mystic chest piece of grade 12 with five added attributes scores 300 + 150 × 5 = 1050 on its own; the high ranks need strong pieces in every slot.

Tipp

To climb: raise the rarity of your pieces, add attributes to every slot (each one counts), and forge them to higher grades. See Forging and Enhancement and Gear Attributes.

Weapon Rank#

Your weapon has a rank of its own, from its score alone (same rule: rarity value + grade value × added attributes). Its steps:

Weapon score40100180240300460600700
